Plot
The Vietnam War. Six months ago, nine Korean soldiers went missing at a Bermuda Triangle-like area known as R-Point. Now, the Korean military starts receiving inexplicable radio transmissions sent by the soldiers who were supposed dead 6 months ago. Another platoon is sent out to investigate. When the soldiers reach R-Point, they encounter a headstone with a warning inscription : "He who sheds the blood of others, cannot return.”
R-point sets a new standard for Asian horror by mixing elements of a ghost story with events taking place as South Korea participated in the Vietnam War. The result is a thrilling and suspenseful fright with a unique eerie mood. The film was huge success when released in South Korea and proved to be the most successful horror film of the year. Swedish theatrical release summer 2005.
