A follow up to El Comandante, the unique portrait of the Cuban leader Fidel Castro who has made headline news this past spring when 75 “political dissidents” and journalists were arrested and imprisoned. Braving criticism, director Oliver Stone returned to Cuba to interview Castro and ask all the hard hitting questions. “Looking for Fidel” in depth portrait of this iconoclastic political leader that helps illuminate Cuba’s extremely controversial situation. The film includes provocative conversations between Stone and Castro about the state of the world, President Bush, Iraq and other major international political topics.
