The success author Mike Enslin, specialize in the supernatural, decides to investigate the myth about a condemned hotel room in New York. Despite the hotel managers Warnings Mike insists to spend 24 hours in room 1408, where a series of brutal murders have occurred. It doesn't take long before the world are turned upside down and he starts to see terrible things! Is it just his mind losing it, or is it evil that has come for him?

Nah, Not scary, not very deep, i found it predictable. But if your not picky i guess its alright.

Välspelad och välregisserad tolkning av Stepen Kings novell. John Cusak bär upp hela filmen och gör skräcken trovärdig. Tyvärr drar Mikael Håfström in lite för mycket specialeffekter på slutet men filmen är ändå mycket bra.
