Harry Street is in Africa suffering from a hunting injury. He realizes what his hunting lifestyle has done to his life and a girlfriend; now dead; comes to him in his dreams. He neglects his wife to write books but she looks after him. Eventually he realizes he is luckier than most and mends his relationship with his wife.
