With over 133 billion litres consumed a year, the world consumption of beer is enough to have you staggering. This fascinating documentary goes behind the scenes to reveal the complexities of the volatile brewing process and how this ever-popular beverage is nurtured, coaxed to maturity and kept in check to quench the thirst of a world craving more.On an acre in St. Louis, The Anheuser-Busch plant produces more than ten million pints of beer a day. Forget the brewery tour and take in our all-access pass. Anheuser-Busch employs the highest in brewing technology, skilled brewmaster-artisans and remains the only major brewing company to oversee every ingredient used in their beers. Every piece is directed at upholding a more than century-old tradition that every Budweiser must taste the same.We watch as crude ingredients evolve into America's favorite beer. Divided between hot and cold sides, we move through the factory alongside the brew as temperatures drop to fifty degrees and rise to one-hundred-and-five. Quality checks exist at each stage in the process in an effort to avoid a bad batch. Then, in a swish of red and white on miles of conveyor belts and through intricate machines, we watch as the beer is packaged. We also visit Anheuser-Busch's malting facility, the tallest building in Iowa, where barley is harvested and malted.Then at U.C.
