From Peter Benchley, the acclaimed author who created the international thriller JAWS, comes the drama, danger and dazzle of THE DEEP. While on vacation, scuba divers David Sanders and Gail Burke (Nick Nolte and Jacqueline Bisset), assisted by Romer Treece (Robert Shaw), discover a sunken treasure off the Bermuda Coast. They also find a stash of narcotics. David and Gail are instantly embroiled in a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse with gangsters and fortune hunters as the drama culminates in a final explosive battle beneath the sea.
