This documentary by Pehr Arte focuses on Roy Andersson's political and philosophical perspectives, as well as why he has chosen to make films.
Pehr Arte and Johan Carlsson began filming in June 2003 planning to follow Roy throughout his work on his fourth feature film "You, the Living". They recorded and documented this creative process for four years.
"I think that the social games people play should be revealed. Many people spend their time, as most uf os do, and I'm not an exception, living and enduring life until death by keeping up appearances and pretending to be happy and content, although very few people are."
