It's been some time since a movie generated this many screaming fans. Internet exploded by fans and the creativity around all that is Twilight is simply fantastic! It even inspired a fan(well, many actually) to write an erotic fanfiction. But one of them even got published, with changed names ofcourse, and became a best seller. Isn't this somehow a testament of how far fan culture has expanded over the last few years?
Fans create teams and cheer on their favourite. "Team Jacob" and "Team Edward" was quickly formed among devoted viewers, around the second movie is was all-out war between them. Robert Pattinson has been asked to bite a woman's baby at the red carpet, and he actually did bite the baby's head gently. He has also bitten Tyra Banks, among others. Kristin and Robert's relationship is on the front page of various magazines every week, and Taylor makes almost a suspiciously small amount of headlines(one can draw optional conclusions from this).
