Movies to rent are streamed to your computer at the same time you are watching it. This requires a constant internet connection. The movies have a short free preview so you can test if the computer's performance and internet connection is good enough.

You can pay using Visa, Mastercard or SMS (Sweden).

As a member you can rent and download movies, receive special offers and earn credits if you are active in the community. The membership is valid on all Headweb services.

There are different ways of earning credits, you decide how you want to participate and how much. Credits can be changed into cash and used to see more movies.

Movies you purchase are available as downloads. Downloads can be burned to DVD-R and played back in a regular DVD player. To be able to download you need the Headweb client which is available for Windows, Mac and Linux and takes care of downloading, playing and DVD-burning.

Remember to make backups of the movies you have downloaded. Use the built in burner to burn downloaded movies to an empty DVD-R.

The Headweb download software includes everything you need - including the ability to play back and burn the movies to DVD (though any DVD burning software will do). For the first time you really can watch your downloads where you want, when you want and how many times you want!

Downloads from Headweb are not infected with copy protection (DRM). DRM limits you as a consumer to use your downloads the way you want. Microsoft DRM is widely used on other download services which means that you need a recent Windows computer to use those services (it's not compatible with Mac or Linux). It also means you can't easily make copies of your downloads and watch on another computer/device and you can't burn the downloads to DVD. Headweb uses a more user friendly alternative to copy protection called watermarking. Watermarking does not limit the way you use your downloads and is a much more user friendly alternative.
