The Kovak box

David Norton (Timothy Hutton) is used to being in control. As a best-selling author, he decides the fate of his characters, his heroes, his villains, their lives and their deaths. But what happens when his fictional world becomes all too real? David travels to Majorca for a conference. His fiancée receives a strange telephone call that makes her jump from their hotel balcony. What made her do this?

As David desperately searches for an answer, people start dying all around him.
David becomes the reluctant hero of one of his own stories, but this time, he has no idea how it ends. The writer is plunged into a nightmarish game that could spell disaster for the whole of mankind. To prevent this, David must somehow find a way to escape from The Kovak Box.

The Kovak Box features Timothy Hutton (Oscar-winning  Star Of Ordinary People, The Dark Half) and David Kelly (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). The film is directed by Daniel Monzon and the screenplay was written by Jorge Guerricaechevarria (800 Bullets,  Ferpect Crime) and the director himself. A 10M USD English language production by the team behind The Machinist. The film World premiered in Cannes in 2006.
